Toddler Program
As toddlers are taking their first steps toward independence, they are developing concentration, coordination and are highly sensitive to language development. In this program, they will have built confidence in completing individual work.

What to expect in our Infant–Toddler classroom.
Designed for movement, exploration, and hands-on engagement, our toddler classroom is equipped with developmentally appropriate Montessori materials. Toddlers are guided to care for themselves and their surroundings, develop language and motor skills, and begin social interactions in a nurturing, structured space.

Nurturing the whole child
Our toddler Montessori curriculum nurtures the whole child by fostering independence, exploration, and joyful learning through hands-on, developmentally appropriate experiences. From practical life skills and language development to sensorial discovery, manipulatives, art, and music, each area supports the child’s growth in confidence, concentration, and creativity. The prepared environment invites toddlers to engage with real materials and meaningful work, allowing them to learn at their own pace while building essential foundations for lifelong learning.

Collaborative learning in action
In our engaging classroom environment, classes delve into topical units of group interest, and critical thinking is woven into every activity. Children make observations, problem-solve, and begin to understand how similarities and differences enhance the classroom community. This includes helping children sit and listen, focus, make thoughtful choices, interact with one another respectfully, follow multistep directions, and self-regulate.

Passionate educators
At Little City Montessori, our educators are the heart of the classroom. Each teacher is trained in the Montessori method and deeply committed to seeing every child as capable, curious, and full of potential. They guide with patience and purpose, observing closely, inspiring independence, and creating an environment where learning feels joyful and meaningful. Their passion for nurturing the whole child shines through in every lesson, every conversation, and every quiet moment of discovery.
